Going to try to go a little deeper into the Meat of Gods word.
Not certain how to begin.
Adam and Eve began Israel’s formation.
They go back 6 thousand years.
Other peoples, like Akkadians, are some of the oldest Mesopotamia civilizations, But I think the Chinese are the oldest and that includes the African races.
If we factor them into the picture, all of human history go back 12 k years old. Give or take.
And we know this if you read Genesis 1:24-31The six-day creation it says people are created. No tiller of soil mentioned then. Not until after, the 7th day of rest, was Adam and Eve created. In the very day Adam and Eve would die. A day defined by Peter when he teaches of the creation.
2nd Peter 3:8 kjv But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance………..
If we go far back, more than that. Then we are going into Pre-History. And pre-historic animals. Like the one God mentions in passing, to Job listing His mighty works. Like the dinosaur Job 40:15 kjv..
No flesh man then. No day of creations.
Going back that far is to Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created The Heavens and The Earth. (End of subject). There’s no date, given in The Bible for when the Beginning happened.
Naturally then, one would look at nature itself, That God created to measure, and see how old things are. But, The Lord Christ, did teach this past. And why, Satan is already in The Garden opposing God. Because there was an age or Kosmos before this one. Before God remade things, with the new set of animals, and man in flesh, with woman too.
The Lord calls this, The Secrets, kept Hidden, before The Foundations of the world. Or ages/eons. The Foundations, the meaning of the phrase more completely understood, means The Casting Down. Of that former first age. “The Foundation of The World.” (therain.org)
Paul and Peter also teach this in brief.
Its why they all the Apostles. And Prophets for that matter, were chosen before they were born.

Peter goes into greater detail. To divide History of this into three parts.

That Earth age, which Perished. By water. Was not Noahs Flood.
This standing in and out of water, is described of Genesis, before even the days of Creation. When flesh man existed, with also Satan standing in Eden.
This perishing is Found in Genesis 1:2. If you go by the English translation,
you won’t see what Peter is teaching about this Perishing. For centuries, people have been teaching doctrines, based on the English render. How the translators viewed it.
Yet, observe a little closer:

Now, if we make this correction, with understanding of God’s Word. And The observations of The Natural Environment of the Earth itself. What can we then conclude?
That long long ago, The Heavens, and Earth were created in the beginning.
Then at some recent past,
The Earth Became, Void, and Without Form.
Not that it was that way or created that way.
Isaiah 45:18
“For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.”

If we were to give this our own translation based on this learning. It read something like
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the Earth became a waste surface, an desolate undistinguishable ruin, And darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
God gives us important insight, if we understand this to be the case. See, the waters were involved in that former destruction. And as we continue reading, Seas resulted. Eventually. And the continents were below the surface. As they “raise”, the waters recced, shorelines appear. This is interesting in its own right. Because the West coast of Africa, fits with the East coasts of the Americas.

So, in Genesis 1:1 No seas. Verse 2, God was moved to destroy a former way of life here on Earth. And this resulted in all prehistoric life being destroyed by a flood. (This is too early, to be Noah’s time). Because we are still in Gensis 1:2-3.
This worldwide flood caused animals to be displaced.
And as they drowned. In time, the land expanded from beneath the waters as the continents grew apart, forming sea crevasses, and vast oceans.

So, God is repairing the Earth to a habitable state again in the days of Creation..
To a habitable state, not as perfect however as it was in The Beginning.
We have Earthquakes, Storms and Tornados. A depleted ozone, etc.
Could the Earth’s axis have been perfect then?

Gensis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

So, it took two “days” (two thousand years, by Peters calculation)
For God to remove the flood He brought to destroy all the cities, and those of us there at that time. These six “days” following as Peter teaches only relay our current History of man,
from Adam and Eve, and the 6th day peoples of other nations.
So roughly 12 thousand years old for this second age in total,
of test and salvation and judgement of the ungodly.
When The Garden of Eden is mentioned in Genesis 2:, 3:, we see Satan is already there.
The Serpent: (Revelation 12:9, Genesis 3:1, 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 kjv)..
Given what understanding of Genesis 1:2 teaches in Hebrew, this means Satan was likely the cause, of God destroying the former age. Causing it to Perish.
Jeremiah 4:

((The same language is used in Isaiah. Isaiah teaches, God said,
He created The Heavens And Earth to be inhabited.
It was not created tohu. It became bohu.
At Satan’s rebellion, and God destroyed everyone. Even cities.
This cannot be Noah’s flood of our second Kosmos or age.
People survived aboard the Ark during Noah’s day a few thousand years ago.
It’s likely that flood was local to the controversy for which it was sent, the fallen angels
(the sons of God). Genesis 6 kjv.
But The flood of Genesis 1:2 (became void and without form),
2nd Peter 3 kjv was truly global.
We know prophecy teaches of Satan, he, will be given a one global order, he will rule
For five months. (Luke 4:5-7 kjv).
But The Lord Christ teaches, Satan did this in the past also. At the foundations.))

If you read The makeup of this multi headed government in Revelation 13 yet future,

Revelation 12:3 this “his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and did cast them to the earth: ” Can certainly means to refer to us here now. And a specific 3rd of all of Gods sons in whom worshiped Satan in this past. We are now all born here, for this cause.

Its clear The Lord is speaking of birth. But from above, we all come.

This water can only mean of the womb. The amniotic fluid sac.
And that Spirit is His Holy Spirit, The Spirit of Salvation of The Lord Jesus Christ.
In that order. We are born, and ideally, chance to learn and accept The Lord Jesus Christ Repenting of our sins.
